As we prepare for the Great Jubilee of the Year 2000, 1998 has been named the Year of the Holy Spirit - a year in which to deepen our appreciation of the role of the Holy Spirit in our lives as individual Christians and as a Church.

What better way to focus on the Holy Spirit than to enrich our own spirit by all the means available to us.  We are very fortunate that in our diocese we have a place ideally suited to such enrichment.

The community of Benedictine monks at S.t Benedict's Monastery in the lovely farmland of Arcadia are offering a number of opportunities this year to help put our spirit into more touch with the Holy Spirit.

Saturday, June 27, Saturday July 4 and Saturday July 18 at St. Benedict's Monastery, 121 Arcadia Road, Arcadia.

Gregorian Chant workshop:
Saturday, September 12, 9:30-4:00pm.  This is designed to allow participants to enter the sacred space of Gregorian Chants through vocal participation.

Scripture Reflection Group:
July 5, August 2, September 6, October 4 and November 8.  Retreat December 4-6.
